The Canary islands are one of the top destination for an wedding photographer in Europe. Lanzarote is one of them. The mystic and beautiful island with incredible volcanic rocks and black landscapes is paired with the opposite, a minimalistic architecture art of white cubic buildings with green or blue windows. And it shows up in a great harmony. In my Lanzarote wedding photography series I wanted to show both sides of the island and work with that contrast.

It was a pleasure to shoot in harsh sun and found compositions where the model and the fine dress is merging in the white houses and also let they popping out in the evening mood in front of rough and dark stones, when the sun is already hiding behind volcanic hills which are getting smaller and smaller.
